Jahrhundert wurden Windfahnen auf Kircht\u00fcrme gesetzt. Auf evangelischen Kirchen waren es meist Fahnen in Form von H\u00e4hnen auf katholischen Kirchen Fahnen, vor allem im Barock, mit einer Erz\u00e4hlung, s. St. Mauritius und St. Katharina, Egelfingen. Diese Windanzeiger waren dann aus Metall, haltbarer als Stoff, da sie nicht ohne weiteres zug\u00e4nglich waren.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">c) Im 19. Jahrhundert verloren die Windfahnen ihre Bedeutung, da der Barometer genauere Wettervorhersagen erm\u00f6glichte (1643 \u2013 1660), dazu kamen weltweite Wetteraufzeichnungen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">d) Nach Gr\u00fcndung des Deutschen Reichs erwuchs eine Nostalgiewelle (1872 \u2013 1920), die auf B\u00fcrgerh\u00e4usern, \u00f6ffentlichen Geb\u00e4uden und Fabrikbauten (s. Langenenslingen: Rathaus 1886, B\u00fcrgerh\u00e4user 1905, 1931,..) zu Windfahnen f\u00fchrten. Sie sehen meist alle gleich aus, wie ein Banner mit der Jahreszahl der Anbringung.<\/p>\n<p>Dabei kann man darauf hinweisen, dass bei Kircht\u00fcrmen keine Himmelsrichtungsangaben erforderlich waren, da fast alle Kirchen Ost-West ausgerichtet waren. Damit war klar woher der Wind weht. Bei den neueren Windfahnen musste deshalb unter der Fahne eine Windrose angebracht werden zur Windrichtungsbestimmung (s. Rathaus). Zur Kl\u00e4rung: Westwind bedeutet: der Wind weht aus West und bringt von dort das Wetter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">e) Sonst gibt es neuere Windfahnen, gekauft oder selbst gebastelt, auf Kaminen oder Gartenh\u00e4usern. Auch ein Kamin mit drehbarer Haube kann man entdecken. Diese Hauben zur Verbesserung des Kaminzugs waren fr\u00fcher h\u00e4ufiger. Sie sind aber mit den Kaminsanierungen verschwunden.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">f) Die Windrichtung kann man auch \u00fcber Windturbinen ersehen, die nun h\u00e4ufiger f\u00fcr erneuerbare elektrische Energieerzeugung aufgebaut werden. Sie sind wegen ihrer H\u00f6he weithin sichtbar. Ein kleines Beispiel kann auf dem Sandhof besichtigt werden.<\/p>\n<p>Es wurden Fotos von den Kircht\u00fcrmen, dem Schloss in Wilflingen und den H\u00e4usern mit Windfahnen angefertigt mit Zustimmung der Eigent\u00fcmer. Die Kircht\u00fcrme sind aber meist zu hoch, um sich ein genaues Bild der Windfahnen zu machen. Deshalb sollen bessere Bilder mit einer Fotodrohne erreicht werden.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Schloss Wilflingen<\/strong><br \/>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-281 gallery-columns-3 Betrachtet man die beiden Zifferbl\u00e4tter \u2013 Ost und West \u2013 so erkennt man, dass der k\u00fcrzere Zeiger vor dem l\u00e4ngeren Zeiger liegt, s. Bild, von einer Drohne aufgenommen. Schaut man sich den Antrieb der Zeiger vom Inneren des Turms aus an, so erkennt man, dass die Innenwelle \u00fcber die kleineren Zahnr\u00e4der (\u00dcbersetzung 1:1) angetrieben wird und die Hohlwelle \u00fcber das gr\u00f6\u00dfere Zahnrad (\u00dcbersetzung 1:12).<\/p>\n<p>Auf der Innenwelle sitzt der vordere Zeiger, der kleinere, und auf der Hohlwelle sitzt der hintere Zeiger, der l\u00e4ngere. Das bedeutet: Der kleinere Zeiger zeigt die Minuten an, eine Umdrehung in der Stunde, der gr\u00f6\u00dfere zeigt die Stunden an, eine Umdrehung in 12 Stunden. Dies ist genau umgekehrt zu unseren heutigen Uhren: Langer Zeiger f\u00fcr die Minuten, k\u00fcrzerer f\u00fcr die Stunden. Dies k\u00f6nnte bedeuten, dass in fr\u00fcheren Zeiten, z. B. vor der Eisenbahnzeit, der Stundenstand ausreichend war und es auf die Minute nicht so ankam. Wie f\u00fcr so ein Uhrwerk das Zifferblatt wohl ausgesehen hat, l\u00e4sst sich am Dachreiter auf dem M\u00fcnster von Kloster Heiligkreuztal erkennen. Das Zifferblatt hat 2 Skalen, au\u00dfen mit der 12 Stundenteilung f\u00fcr den gro\u00dfen Zeiger und innen mit einer Viertelstundenteilung (s. Bild).<\/p>\n<p>Das Uhrwerk liegt 2 Etagen tiefer unter dem Glockenstuhl und ist von einem Dach gegen Feuchtigkeit und Schmutz von oben gesichert, s. Bild. Der Antrieb der Uhrzeiger erfolgt \u00fcber eine Welle nach oben und \u00fcber Kreuzgelenke zu den Zahnradgetrieben der Zifferbl\u00e4tter, der aber heute nicht mehr gegeben ist. Das Pendel ist sehr lang, 4,15 m lang, und tr\u00e4gt eine gro\u00dfe Gewichtsscheibe. Die Uhr ist schon lang nicht mehr betriebsbereit. Damit die Zeiger f\u00fcr beide Zifferbl\u00e4tter wenigstens den gleichen Stand zeigen, wurden die Anzeigen an beiden auf 4:00 Uhr eingestellt, gro\u00dfer Zeiger auf 4 kleiner auf 12 \u2013 sehr gew\u00f6hnungsbed\u00fcrftig. In dieser Stellung wurden die Getriebe durch Spangen verklemmt, sodass der Wind drau\u00dfen die Zeiger nicht mehr verstellen kann.<\/p>\n<p>Wir haben hier wohl eine sehr alte Kirchturmuhr mit besonderen Eigenheiten bei uns.
